Deluxe Bright Gold 5220 is one of our favourite Metallic foils.
Interesting fact- Au is the elemental symbol for Gold. This is shortened from the old Latin name for gold, aurum, which means “shining dawn” or “glow of sunrise.”

All our foil is on 1” cores and 122mtrs long, the minimum width we supply is 2”

Description: A general purpose metallic foil for the graphics sector.
Main characteristics: An extremely versatile foil designed for rough surfaces with excellent adhesion on uncoated paper/board, untreated cardboard and rough/embossed papers. Good workability for use with embossing or textured dies. High gloss level.
Fields of application: Wine labels, sheet fed labels, photo mounts, bookbinding materials, packaging for wines & spirits.
Definition: Medium to Solid.
Stamping method: Vertical, Platen, Cylinder & Rotary
Working temperature: Vertical 95 – 130 °C Platen 95 – 130 °C Cylinder 130 – 170 °C Rotary 150 – 210 °C
This should just be used as guidance due to the fact that the temperature is directly related to speed of machinery
